Converting a Dynamic Marketing List to a Static List

Recently a client wanted to selectively remove certain Contacts from a Dynamic Marketing List. After discovering that you can’t do this they pinged us with the question – What can we do?

The answer is simply convert the dynamic list to a static list and then edit the static list. Sounds simple, right? There is a button that appears on the dynamic marketing list tool bar that makes it a one click operation. Well almost.

Here is the button.

However, there is one more step you have to take to be able to manage the members on the list. It gets created in a ‘locked’ state. So change it to unlocked and you will be good to go.
