Faster than Flow?

This morning while preparing for my Google Hangout presentation – Using Microsoft Flow with Excel to Publish Data to Dynamics 365 I discovered that I was faster than Microsoft Flow!

Well not exactly. My objective was to open up the 3 Flows I was going to use for the webinar and save them so they would appear at the top of my Flow list like this: List of Microsoft Flows

But since I didn’t need to actually edit anything, as soon as the Save button appeared I clicked. However, when I did this it generated a really scary message. I sent out a “Help I am Panicking Email’ to a really great group of PMs on the Flow product team. Withing minutes I got a simple explanation from David Blyth ! It turns out that if you try to Save or Change the Flow before the Trigger finishes loading it will generate the error message. What’s the fix? Just click X to close the message and then Save it. Or be a little more patient and wait for the Flow logic to completely load before editing or saving.

The power flow’s logic app flow template was invalid. The ‘type’ property of template trigger ‘manual’ at line ‘1’ and column ‘1838’ has the value ‘Manual’ which is deprecated in schema version ‘2016-04-01-preview’ and onwards.
